Typical shiny polished aluminum. Looks great on the truck. However. The ends were bent wrong. Not a bad fix. The instructions say drill the screws in from the top, but has holes drilled in the lip that overhangs inside. Stake holes lined up well. For what I paid, I suppose they're ok.
