Got this chest to bolt to the bed of my flat bed pick up to stow my mountain bike gear. The size works well as it leaves room for bikes and/or kayaks. The box easily holds my hydration pack, 2 helmets and two plastic boxes. One plastic box with gear such as gloves, rain suits, helmet liners, headbands etc. The other plastic box holds spare tubes, various lights for night rides, tools and first aid stuff. The point is there is adequate room for my intended use.

Now for the box construction. They claim it has a "snap latch" mine does but it does not snap, it is poorly mounted and will not snap into and stay in a closed position. Additionally the latch is secured by 3 tiny spot welds that I believe a six year old could defeat.
The brackets inside that hold the chain that prevents the top from going all the way over backwards are square pieces of tin with razor sharp corners, one wrong move with your hand inside this box will result in a serious cut. I used tin snips and...Read more
