I kayak and this keeps all the gear from flying off on the freeway when we are going to the beach. I have been using it for a couple of months now and it does the job. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 6' x 8' Super-Duty Cargo Net w/ 32 Plastic Hooks (Misc.) First, the good: This net is huge and more than capable of covering most truck beds. The cords seem to be strong, but I've only used it once, so I can't comment on their durability. Now, the bad: When I pulled the net taut, the hook released from the tie-down. Upon inspection, I found that the hooks are too thin and too flexible, which allowed them to slip out of the tie down. Luckily, my Ford Sport Trac has tie downs which allow me use the nets cord rather than the hook, keeping the net useful to me. By the end of the trip, many of the hooks unclipped themselves from the net, which just saved me the trouble of doing it. By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: 6' x 8' Super-Duty Cargo Net w/ 32 Plastic Hooks (Misc.) It's a shame. The net itself is of reasonably good quality, but the hooks are absolutely useless. They are so thin that as soon as you try to hook them on something, they bend and twist and fly off. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. |
