I'm still sore a week after I applied this coating to the bed of my pick-up. And that is the only thing negative I have to say about this product. I saved $300 over LineX, but I worked for it. First you wash the truck. Then you sand the bed, the whole bed, all of it, cracks, humps, valleys. Then you wipe it all out with Xylene. Are you into huffing? Then you remove bolts and screws or mask everything. Try masking the edge of a flat washer. Now you start the actual application, but no sweat. And I mean NO SWEAT can drip on the bed of your truck, the coating won't stick to water. So now you keep a rag soaked in Xylene for wiping up the sweat. That's probably the only reason I completed the process, I was high. There is a statement in the application instructions that you can mix 1/2 gallon at a time. Get out your red highlighter and mark that spot. If you are doing this project alone, mix 1/2 gallon at a time. It was dark when I was appling the final coats. This coating...Read more

Rust-Oleum 7705498 Road Warrior Black Protective Truck Bed Coating KitWe used it on the front of a dump trailer. Sanded and wire brushed it down to bare metal where there was rust or roughed up the existing paint. Brushed in the the corners, and applied the rest with a roller. Do it in a well ventilated area! Strong odors were present from the drying material. It dries hard & is not as soft a material as my Rhino lining in my pickup or in my son-in-law's pickup which is another brand. So far it is good, one month out. My thought is that if your time is worth anything, hire it done professionally. It's not a simple task, as the prep time is a lot longer than the application time. I spent approximately 8-10 hours getting the trailer ready and then it took 3 hours for application and cleanup.
