I bought the Pro-Series HTEXT Truck Extension because I needed a back rack to carry my canoe and I didn't want to put a permanent rack on the back of my truck. The Pro-Series HTEXT Truck Extension is well built and is easy to install, it slides into your existing reese hitch and adjusts to the height you want.

I use this extension on a Ford supercrew which has the shortest bed in the business. The ability to use it as a bed extension or as a rack in conjunction with my headache rack is genius. I've hauled a canoe and lumber using this extension and it has performed flawlessly. There are others out there that are more expensive and are less versatile. This extension can be packed flat. I am very happy with this purchase.

this product is good for the price and for the free shipping. it allow me to put my inflatable kayak on the roof of my explorer sport and have it extend to the back instead of tying it to the front bumper. i can still open the rear window out. the only problem is that it fits loose in the receiver hitch. it has a tendency to wooble unless when you tie it down you cinch it to the front using the roof rack.
