Lund 95053 Genesis Tri-Fold Latching Tonneau Cover

Anyone who has owned a pick-up and needed to protect what they haul has had to buy a tonneau of one type or another. I have had several types and models over the years. This one is the BEST. It goes on the easiest, is good looking and form fitting. None are absolutely perfect but this one is close. When I have a larger, bulkier item to haul, the Tri-Fold is so simple to open up.

I have been VERY happy with my purchase. Only regrets are the bad choices I made when I ever bought the other types of snap on or even Velcro fastener tonneaus. This one is one to appreciate. Buy this one!

My Lund tonneau cover arrived on time and everything was in the package that was supposed to be. It fit my 2004 Silverado perfectly and went on easily. Probably took 10 minutes to install, but now that I know how it's done it shouldn't take 5 next time. So far it keeps my cargo dry. The only water that got in was at the carwash using the wand and even then only a few drops at the tailgate. I think it would take a hurricane to blow in rain. Very pleased with my purchase so far. Now I need the tailgate lock to provide a little security. I recommend this cover.

Update December 9, 2009- the tonneau cover has held up very well. I have discovered two issues you might consider and they will be issues with any cover. #1 is dust. I live about 1/2 mile down a gravel road and somehow dust does accumulate in the bed over time even when the cover is secured.(I suspect it comes in from under the bed.) Well, my tonneau cover broke today and I was very sad. I've owned it for just over 2 years. I've been very satisfied with the build quality and the performance of the product. Today I had my truck parked in my driveway. There was a 50-60 knot windstorm blowing directly across my truck (from the side). The wind lifted the tonneau cover from the center, between the latches and on the hinge and was able to overcome one of the latches. The tonneau lifted and snapped at one hinge, two crossbar intersections, and both back latches. It is not repairable. I will likely purchase the same product to replace it.
