Will not stay in place, a ten pound box will make it flip up and release yor cargo all over the bed the feet at the bottom are poorly aligned not worth 54 dollars, cheaply made. I spent 12 dollars at the lumber yard and made a custom cargo fence this works 10 times better. I you have to have something like this spend the money on a good bed extender forget this junk it's going back!!!

I just installed this yesterday, so this review is tentative as of 1/25/09. I bought this in spite of the one review which rated this at one star, because I didn't see anything more attractive. I want to use my truck for commuting, shopping, etc., and want to be able to put grocery bags, boxes, etc, in the back without having them slide forward. Also, I want to be able to remove it if I need the whole bed...
I will update this after I've actually tried it for a couple of weeks.

As the user screws the pads around, the width of the apparatus gradually increases, thread by thread (quicker, preset, less precise...Read more

This divider is unique in that no one else makes this design. It works well when aligned behind or in front of the wheel wells. However, when you lock it over the wheel wells it is too high for the cross legs to contact the bed floor. I had to make longer cross legs to keep it from flipping up. There should be another set of locking pads on the bottom.
The carrier net works just like those found in most SUVs. It is convenient for holding small, light objects like shopping bags, rain coats etc.
