Summary: Excellent customer service from Pop & Lock 2010-02-27
Comment: I purchased a PL 1300 for my 2008 Chevy Silverado from Hubcaps Plus. When I initially tried to install it I ran into several problems: the lock didn't fit the bezel correctly, the lock didn't lock the tailgate, and sometimes the lock would jam in the locked position. I contacted Pop & Lock Corp. and they immediately sent a redesigned PL 1300 to my house for no charge. The replacement installed in minutes and works great. If you are purchasing a PL1300 for a 2007 or newer Silverado or Sierra, I recommend contacting P&L directly to get the newer version.
