For just under $100 (Gun and gallon can) I was able to get an outstanding final result but not with some experimentation. Following the directions on the can for spraying, if you note the temp (70+*) and the option of cutting the liner compound with Acetone (if needed), the gun worked fine and the texture came out fantastic. Play with the adjustments and start with a cap of acetone if the gun cant siphon-But be aware of the temp recommendations before you add acetone. Shoot a scrap piece of wood to see what you have before you start. You wont be dissappointed. For $100, not a bad deal! If all of this is too much, add another $300+ and let someone do it. For a rougher texture, I did as Angel Perez recommended, and used a wall texture gun. That came out awesome with no Acetone. Thick, rough and tough. I used the product for bumpers, under hood, door jams and bed.
