Delta 410000 48" Long Bright Aluminum Extra Wide Trailer Tongue Truck Box

I ordered this trailer tongue box about a week ago for a 6.5' x 12' Thule aluminum trailer. The box is nice overall but seems a little flimsy. There are some re-enforcement strips inside the box for mounting, however they do not run the entire length of the inside (fall about 1 inch short on each end). There is a gas support for the lid and the lid fits tightly when closed. I have not had it in the rain since I installed it but I don't think the lid is going to leak. You could pay a lot more for a similar box at other web sites (I did some shopping around before I got this one). I never had a chance to see any images of the box before I bought it (even Google images pulls up nothing) so I have posted several on here for you to look at. I hope this is helpful.

Item was received in a thin, torn cardboard box. Amazon was selected as the vendor (there are many online for this item)based on overall cost (free shipping). Item had a bent rear lid and hinge. The welds in the aluminum were cracked or simply not holding two edges together in several places. This item says it was manufactured in Arkansas - not China. Shameful quality. I was going to return it, but shipping was $92.06 - which Amazon refunded so I could make repairs myself.

I really like the tool box. I put it on my trailer that I use to pull my four wheeler. Fits great and I do not have any problems with hitting the box when I back up with sharp turns. The only very minor problem is the rubber lock cover will not stay closed. I would recommend this tool box to anyone with a trailer.
