This review is from: Deflecta-Shield 5540 Challenger Series Universal Brite Cargo Carrier Chest (Automotive) The box in general is constructed well and was delivered undamaged and the box dimensions given in the description are accurate.
The box as pictured in the sale has a recessed area along the back for the lid to open, in fact the box shipped does not so if you do not have enough room to set the box so that there is 2 inches of space behind the box for the lid to open then this box will not work for your application. The second problem is that the lid has a gas cylinder lift for the lid to be kept open while accessing the box but the cylinder will only allow the lid to open about 60 degrees so If you have large items to store in the box you will need to disconnect the cylinder to allow the lid to fully open for full access. |
