You can not use a bed extender with this product. With the space that you lose with the perminant placement of the canister and the loss of the bed extender there isn't much storage space left. The directions call for drilling but the advertisment say no drilling? Also, the directions do not tell you how to clamp the cover rails if your truck has the new tie down rail system that Nissan invented. Again, the advertisement says it will work with the rail system but the clamps are to small to fit over the tie down rail.

This seems to be a very well constructed product. If you have a different bedding system it may work for you.
