Get it guys & you wont be dissapointed. As Jimmy stated in the earlier review, getting the initial line up can be quite challenging. Just take your time & it will all come together.

Drilling the brackets into my ranger was easy, but did stumble a bit, as I had some holes that were already in the area where I had needed to drill, and unfortunately were a little big. Not because of the kit, but because of the previous owner. I had to use some wall anchors to secure, & secure they did.

After all was done, I loved the fit finish & craftmanship of this extender. It is perfect for my quick drive to the beach with my 9'0 Encinitas John Kies Surfboard or to the desert with my Honda TRX 450R. I added some surfboard pads to the end for protection of my extender and my board. As it's a 9'0, only about 6" of board sticks out, that means it gives you over 8.5 usable feet of storage...

The lip makes putting that much more stuff in easier.

Works as described. The bent tubes don't go together very easily and I ended up having to cut the ends off them to make it fit on my 2011 Colorado. The only thing I dislike is the distance above the bed it arcs through when you fold it from inside the bed to extended. It hits my camper shell so I have to take it off. Next time I will buy regular extender to avoid this problem.
